Most of you reading this could have made the prediction. You know the one...about the forest fires? Climatologists have been warning about climate change since, mmm forever. I’m beginning to think if anyone hasn’t “come around” by now - to see that forests burning, hurricanes hitting us in threes and plus 35C days on the prairies in record numbers - then maybe they never will.
Because when you make the statement that all this is related to human activity it’s as if you are speaking against business and making money. (Well duh yeah, that’s what got us here.) And that is probably a good reason why the MSM is not loud about it. It’s bad for biz. Meanwhile the whole god damned place is burning. Is that “fearmongering”? Answer me this; if you were on the Titanic and you knew what was going down (literally), would you have stopped the screaming because “they think I’m fearmongering”? I’m going to make a very unpopular call here and say...yes. You would have stopped the screaming. It’s ok. Most of us do. Our brains are hardwired for this. We are conditioned to connect with humanity, gain approval and be onside with members of our tribe. Because going against popular opinion makes us unpopular and unloved by our tribe. It’s time to get over that. Because shits gettin’ real.
