There are 70 colour coded chords in one dome frame kit.
30 A chords
30 B chords
10 C chords
The Chords (akin to a typical house stud) are the building blocks of these domes.
There are 2 types of chord used, A, B &C. Each end is cut to a point.
Here is a typical "arrowhead" cut.
First step is to assemble the chords into A&B pairs like this.
There will be five of these in each pentagon.
Then assemble five of these pairs into a circle pattern to screw them together.
When complete you will have a stack of 6 pentagons. This makes up a complete dome frame.

IN the summer of 2021 we had a great opportunity to work with some wonderful people on an acreage just outside Creston BC. With a small group of willing volunteers we had that dome frame assembled and erected in no time. When the work involves group learning and team work it's just fun and timeless.
